Relationships are terribly important  for us.  Friends and family add a real richness to our lives.  Sometimes we meet a person and establish a relationship that changes our lives.

Jesus often had this impact on people.  The Gospels record some of these personal encounters that changed lives.  Nicodemus, the woman at the well, the royal official and the lame man by the pool of Bethesda all encountered Jesus in different ways.  Some sought him out and others stumbled across him.  However, all of them went away different people as a result of their encounter with Jesus.
