Myra left Australia in 1973 to assist in the running of a Christian bookshop in Wewak Mt Hagen in Papua New Guinea which had opened in 1969.  Myra then relocated to Mt Hagen in 1974 to manage the Christian bookshop which opened there in 1972.  Myra has been in PNG ever since and is now involved in training PNG nationals and assisting with the work of Christian Books Melanesia.
